When my best friend’s wedding conflicted with a severe weather day in Alabama, my wife and I stepped up to capture this special day. We started filming during rehearsal dinner to get establishing shots and then followed the bride through the day.

Meet the couple

This couple is special — Andrew and Grace met at our wedding when he caught whispers that Grace might be interested in dancing with him. He was so nervous, a sensation that Andrew rarely feels, and missed his opportunity to dance. But that didn't stop Grace. She DM'd him that night to say she liked his speech.
From there, they established their first date and this led them to a wedding day at The Barn at Shady Grove in Double Springs, Alabama. When threatening weather came up, they continued iwth the festivities and enjoyed a more intimate wedding service. The team at the Barn did a fantastic job setting up and keeping the celebrations going. This led to a beautiful day celebrating our great friends.
