What I love about this venue
The Barn at Shady Grove is a full-service venue and has a lot to offer for couples who are want a rustic-style wedding. If you’re looking to have your wedding in a beautiful barn or rural venue, don’t skip this location! As a vendor, I was most impressed by the management and great variety of appealing video locations from the start of the rehearsal dinner to the couple’s final exit.

Getting ready
The wedding party has separate, spacious areas to get ready and celebrate before the day’s festivities begin. These spaces offer plenty of room for mid-size groups to get ready.
For the groom and his boys, the Saloon offers a relaxed bar with TV, pool table, and a tack room-style area for suiting up.
For the bride and her girls, a separate cottage boasts plenty of natural light and lit vanities for makeup and hair. The cottage offers space for pajama pictures, getting into dresses, and first looks with your bridesmaids.
Bridal & family portraits
The Barn at Shady Grove offers many areas for group photo opportunities both indoors and out. From the barn door entrance to beautiful green pastures lined with white fencing, there is an option for every aesthetic.
Walking distance to handicap-accessible areas offer family members of any age to be a part of your special day. The venue also provides golf cart access to ensure that wedding guests can comfortably be escorted to any area on the grounds.
The ceremony
There are multiple ceremony spaces available to couples on the venue grounds. You can beat the heat in the comfortable, air-conditioned barn or enjoy a beautiful day outside with your loved ones and guests no matter the time of year.
Reception
Now for the fun part! The Barn at Shady Grove provides plenty of seating in the barn that includes a loft large enough for additional tables with a great view of the dance floor. The venue’s vendor recommendations provide dining experiences that gives every guest a taste of southern hospitality.
The centerpiece — a beautiful, reclaimed crystal chandelier — glistens in the light of the evening as their in-house DJ spins great music guaranteed to liven any crowd.
